“What a great trip! You’ll be gone from 8am till 10pm so be prepared. Our bus had a USB port and WiFi, so bring a charging cord - you’ll be taking so many photos! I’d recommend buying the option with lunch included because they made a stop to a restaurant where we all ate at, so there’s not really a choice. Our guide, Katarina, was extremely knowledgeable and is a local to the area. I couldn’t have imagined getting any other guide! Overall, the tour was great and we couldn’t have imagined doing it all by ourselves. We entered 3 monasteries but were able to view either 4 or 5…”

“The views are incredible and they share wonderful knowledge inside the bus. We had a long drive not sure to their fault and we missed the regular experience. We arrived late to Meteora and they gave us options and we still were able to see everything to make it a great trip! We had clear skies and a great guide. I would have loved more explanation upon entering the bus in the morning on want to expect but they didn't speak good english. The guide hops on at Meteora so it's a long quiet ride there and back. I wish I had taken a train ride there as the bus…”

“Meteora is absolutely wonderful - so beautiful and worth the long drive back and forth from Athens. The company has good drivers and comfortable buses. All in all, the road was much easier (and very scenic) than expected. Our tour guide Maria was fun and knowledgeable. She did everything she could to help us and answer questions. “This trip and views at Meteora I will remember for very long time. One of a kind. I think arrangements all were very good but we had one day and two day group travelers in same group in Delphi and the split to two groups should be made clearer who is going with which quide and bus. How ever it was not a mess, but the only moment I felt some people were worried are they at right place and bus. Thank you for the good quides and seriously talented bus driver. By the way, we had truly a luxury bus on this trip.”

“This was a long bus trip to the Meteora area which was a beautiful place once we got there. A few suggestions - have the driver or a tour guide tell about the areas we traveled through such as history, culture, names of lakes, etc. Spend less time on meals and more time touring the monasteries.”

“Stephanie was our guide and was great! Just enough conversation. Lots of great information and answers questions willingly. The overnight was really great. The hotel Amalia was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The pool was an added surprise and refreshing. Food was very good too!”

“Eva was very nice and tried hard to make it interesting but the tour was a lot of driving and less than half of the time was the tour. The actual monasteries were business centres collecting entry fees, selling a variety of goods and very little was about the life, values or experiences of the monks or really anything of substance at all”

“Train to Kalambaka was pleasant. The mini bus was comfortable, the driver very accommodating, even offering us bottles of cold water. Our tour guide Maria was amazing. She had a wealth of knowledge, both historically and personally as she grew up in the area. She made this trip one of a kind. The monestaries were spectacular. The views were breathtaking. I would encourage everyone to experience Meteora. As a side note the train back was delayed twice and was without basic toiletries, maybe pack accordingly. Take snacks!!Read more”

“Our guide Vaso and Giannis were amazing. The guide provided us thorough explanation about each of the monasteries and made stops at the viewpoints throughout the tour to take photos. This was my second visit to Meteora, the first time on my own and this time on a tour, but I find it much more interesting and convenient with the tour. If you are planning to visit Meteora I would absolutely recommend this tour. I booked a budget option so I was not expecting much from the hotel, but the room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the rocks. There is about 5 hours of free time…”

“We enjoyed the hike and tour at Delphi. So much more history than just the oracle. The hotel had good food and an outdoor pool. Bus up to the monasteries in Meteora, with an interesting surprise stop. Monasteries were full Byzantine art and architecture, and truly breathtaking views. Ladies, must wear skirts in the monasteries, but there were available for loan.”
